    The fifth death anniversary of world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional Arfa Karim Randhawa is being observed on Saturday (today).

    Arfa Karim was born on 2nd February, 1995, in Faisalabad and went on to achieve the milestone just at the age of nine years.

    She had also won scores of awards including Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal, Salam Pakistan Youth Award and the prestigious Pride of Performance Award.

    Founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates himself had presented the certificate to the Pakistani child prodigy.

    Arfa suffered an epileptic attack on 22nd December, 2011 and was shifted to a hospital in Lahore.

    She went into coma after the epileptic attack and passed away on 14th January, 2012.

    Karim may not be with us here today but many youngsters are in the race to achieve the milestone and excellence in the field.
