Search giant Google on Thursday displayed a lit candle on its Pakistan homepage “in memory of the victims in Peshawar”.
A small lit candle is visible right below the search bar and displays the above quoted description when cursor is hovered over the candle.
Pakistan is in second day of the official three-day mourning and tributes are pouring in from across the world.
Google’s small gesture is being acknowledged and appreciated on the social media space as well.
Previously Google has displayed customized ‘doodles’ on its Pakistan page on Pakistan’s independence day August 14.
