    The Pakistan Super League is emerging as one of the big brands in the cricketing world and has become a league attracting the top players around the world.

    The improved credibility of the league is bringing in more big names from around the world ahead of the players’ draft for the third edition of Pakistan Super League.

    Reliable sources have confirmed that Australian batsman Chris Lynn and the fearsome pacer Mitchell Johnson have agreed to be the part of Pakistan Super League’s third edition.

    “Along with Lynn and Johnson, South Africa’s JP Duminy has also consented to be part of PSL three,” the source added.

    27-year-old Chris Lynn is considered as one of the most sought-after T20 batsmen these days, with a strike rate of around 148 in the shortest format of the game.

    Experts believe that players like Johnson, Lynn and JP will make Pakistan Super League more competitive and attractive.

    The source further added that talks with more players are on the final stage. The list of players for the draft will be sent to franchises very soon.

    “Other players who are near to sign the consent include South Africa’s Imran Tahir, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Sri Lanka’s Tharanga,” the source revealed.

    The players' draft for the third edition of PSL is likely to be held in the mid of October.
