An Afghan-descent woman has claimed on Wednesday (September 27) that national eleven all-rounder Imad Wasim ‘abandoned a relationship’ with her and has been avoiding her for a month. She told the media person that her relationship with Imad lasted for one month after which he started to avoid her.
Wasim denied the allegations and branded the pictures forged. The cricketer hung up the phone call after asserting that forged images could be put on the Internet by anyone nowadays.
Wasim was part of the most recent international sporting event in Pakistan, World XI Vs Pakistan that was held earleir this month. Pakistan won the three Twenty20 Internationals series with 2 to 1 and all the matches were played in Lahore in Gadaffi Stadium.
Before that, in one of his bigger career achievements so far, the all-rounder represented Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2017. The green shirts brought home Pakistan’s maiden Champions Trophy this year.
