The 11-year-old alliance of middle order batsman Umar Akmal and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) comes to a close in domestic cricket.
The right-hand batsman will now represent United Bank Limited (UBL) in the upcoming 2017-18 season.
According to details, the relationship of Umar Akmal with SNGPL was impaired in the previous season of domestic cricket when Akmal left the team without permission to play for Lahore Whites.
It is worth mentioning here that Umar Akmal played 47 first-class matches for SNGPL, and scored 3216 runs with the help of four centuries.
According to UBL coach, Umar Akmal has been neglected in the national team, and he will help him to become a better player.
