Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor thanked Ronaldinho and the accompanying group of international football legends for visiting Pakistan to take part in exhibition matches.
In a Twitter post early Monday morning, Major General Asif Ghafoor also extended thanks to the group of footballers for showing the world, through their visit, that Pakistan is a peaceful and loving country.

Earlier on Sunday, following the second leg of the football series in Lahore, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho thanked Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the entire country and said Pakistan is a peaceful and loving country.

Ronaldinho along with Manchester United great Ryan Giggs, former England goalkeeper David James, Dutch star George Boateng, former French players Robert Pires and Nicolas Anelka, and Portuguese player Luis Boa Morte were welcomed by Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa over the weekend, where he thanked the players for visiting Pakistan and said Pakistan as a country is peace-loving and loves sports.

Team Ronaldinho beat Giggs-7 by 2-0 in Lahore to win the exhibition series.
