    Pakistan’s most prominent international cricket umpire Aleem Dar has said that spot-fixing scandal defamed country’s name.

    Aleem Dar on Friday expressed his views while talking to media in Lahore and said players should be given awareness of code of conduct of the game.

    The legendary umpire said Pakistan’s cricketers are not much educated, therefore, they should be properly trained to keep themselves away from any kind of unlawful activities that corrupt the gentleman’s game.

    Talking about Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, Aleem Dar said his services for Pakistan cricket are immense as he brought honor to Pakistan cricket.

    Aleem Dar also gave the hint to retire after 2019 World Cup.
