Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah has been dropped to fifth position from first in latest International Cricket Council (ICC) after poor performance in second Test against England.
Yasir Shah was unable to continue his terrific form from the previous match at Lord’s as he took only one wicket in the first innings in the 54 overs he bowled while conceding 213 runs.
"Watching Yasir from Lord’s, he got a lot of lbws and bowled so we played him a little straighter and it worked," said Cook.
Pakistan lost the match by a massive margin of 330 runs as England players managed to perform outstandingly in the game.
On the other hand, Pakistan team ranked on third number in the list while England have taken fifth position. Pakistan would play their third Test against England at Edgbaston on Wednesday, August 3.
