    Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan on Saturday stated that England is willing to pardon Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir and grant him visa so that he may participate in the upcoming series against England.

    PCB Chairman said that the announcement regarding the head coach of the team will be made in two or three days.

    He added that he has the authority to appoint the head coach but the decision shall be made in the meeting of the board’s governing body.

    He said that the West Indies board has responded positively to Pakistan’s suggestion of arranging a day-night Test match.

    He stated that both teams will play a Test match in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the ongoing year with a pink ball.

    He stated that Younis Khan was forgiven after he apologised over his behaviour during the Pakistan Cup match. Furthermore, PCB Chairman requires the permission of Najam Sethi in regards to the addition in the number of teams participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

    Shahryar Khan said that the visa problems faced by Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will be viewed after their selection in the side.
