  • BCCI likely to consider sending players to PSL: IPL chief

    Chief of Indian Premier League (IPL) Rajiv Shukla has said that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is ready to consider sending its players to take part in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

    “So far we have not got any such query from the PCB but if they do contact us on this topic we will look into it,” Shukla said.

    Indian players are not allowed to take part in foreign T20 leagues as part of BCCI’s policy but the IPL Chief said that he will ponder upon PCB’s request if they send one.

    PSL Chief Najam Sethi is keen on having Indian players on board for the tournament.

    Pakistan’s T20 league will be contested in February 2016 in the United Arab Emirates.

    Several international stars from across the world including Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Kevin Pietersen and Shane Watsonhave signed up for the cricketing league.
