Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said on Saturday (September 16) that Nawaz Sharif got himself disqualified and left behind an ‘army’ of inefficient people.

Bilawal addressed a rally in Dadu of Sindh and criticised the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, former president of the federally ruling party Nawaz Sharif and his other political opponents.

Bilawal said that banned outfits cannot be allowed to float political fronts and we cannot have the state do nothing in this regard.

He said that he has been urging the federal government for the past two and half years to act on the National Action Plan but they paid heed to the need of time only after the United States demanded off it.

PPP chief said that nascent lawmakers who know nothing about democracy are talking about it. They have not rendered any sacrifice for democracy and to strengthen the democratic state, he added.

He also criticised the court’s order in Benazir Bhutto assassination case. Bilawal said that the persons who confessed to the crime were freed and that the biggest facilitator in the case is an absconder and out of the country.

The PPP chairman said that the party does not agree with the verdict.

He further claimed that the government of PML-N borrowed the most loans in its current tenure in the history of Pakistan. Industries are being shut and the leaders claim that Pakistan is progressing, he said.

PPP leader said that Pakistan belongs neither of Imran Khan nor to Nawaz Sharif but to the people.

He further said that a foreign minister was appointed after a delay of four years and PPP had been demanding the action all along ever since the government came to power.
