Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari has convened a meeting with Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah and the meeting has decided to include new ministers in the cabinet.

Sources privy to PPP have reported that Imtiaz Shaikh, Dr Sohrab Khan Sarki and Syed Awais Qadir Shah have been added to the list of new names that are going to be included in the Sindh cabinet. Reportedly, Zardari has instructed the Government of Sindh to not give a post to any party leader who does not have people s mandate.

CM Murad Ali Shah has called a meeting of senior parliamentary leaders of the political organisation in the metropolis to discuss the matter. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Zardari has left responsibility of appointment of Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) with the Chief Minister.

Earlier last year, Zardari returned to Pakistan and announced to contest for seat in the incumbent parliament alongside Chairman of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari but did not get through with the decision however, he said that Bilawal would contest the election in Larkana constituency.

Return of party s co-chairman came at a time when Bilawal had put forth four demands for the federal government to meet.

After deadline given to the government expired, Zardari and Bilawal, in their addresses in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh announced to lodge series of protests and country-wide campaign against the government.
