The outgoing Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah while brushing aside reports of deepening rifts within the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) said that he would accept party’s decision regarding his future, come what may.

PPP has decided to replace Qaim Ali Shah as the provincial minister for which another PPP leader Syed Murad Ali Shah has been selected as the best option.

Reasons for removing Qaim Ali Shah, who has been serving as Chief Minister Sindh since 2008, could not be confirmed yet.

However, there have been reports that PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had reservations over his continuance in office as the provincial chief minister.

Party sources told  that during a planned parliamentary meeting of PPP Sindh on Wednesday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is expected to discuss the possible changes in his party’s provincial government set-up.

He is due to arrive in Karachi today.
