Estranged Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Zulfiqar Mirza on Saturday submitted a plea in Sindh High Court seeking exemption from appearing before the court citing the reason that police have sealed all routes leading to the court.
Mirza said he wants to appear before the court but the police have sealed all the roads leading to the court. He further said that the police have deployed extra force to prevent him from reaching the court.
He requested the court to order police for opening of the routes and providiing him adequate security.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place in Karachi ahead of probable appearance of Zulfiqar Mirza before the court.
