Rangers raided the residence of Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) chief Ahmed Chinoy on Tuesday and brought him for questioning over a kidnapping case.

According to the details, the Rangers personnel raided Chinoy’s residence last night and directed him to meet for questioning which he complied.

CPLC chief was questioned about the way CPLC handled the kidnapping case of 26-year-old man Laraib. He appeared before the said person and recorded his statement.

Talking exclusively to private TV channel, Chinoy confirmed that Rangers showed up at his residence last night and told him to drop by the office for questioning.

He said there were some misunderstandings which are now resolved and that the kidnapped man was already recovered yesterday.

CPLC chief was upset over it and asked if the Rangers would have spared him had they found any money at his house. He said it appears to be a conspiracy of ex-staffers of CPLC.
