Three days anti-polio drive to inoculate 5,75,000 children in 86 Union Councils (UCs) follows second day on Tuesday in Karachi.
According to details, campaign has been started in the areas of Site and Orangi Town which was deferred earlier due to security reasons. The campaign will not administer polio vaccination to the children of sensitive UCs as they have been vaccinated before.
Earlier, three days anti-polio drive has been launched in 86 Union Councils of 16 towns in Karachi on Monday. According to details, 5,75,000 children would be administered polio drops during the campaign whereas 1706 volunteer teams have been arranged to achieve the goal.
Moreover, campaign has faced delay in various areas due to lack of security arrangements by administration.
