Health authorities on Monday kicked off three-day anti-polio campaign in Karachi aimed that vaccinating over 0.7 million children below the age of five years.
According to the Health Ministry officials, the immunization campaign will be run in 75 union councils, including Malir, SITE, Quaid Abad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gaddap. Nearly 780,000 children will be administered anti-polio drops during the campaign which was suspended in several city areas last month due to security reasons.
