PPP Co-Chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari took a swipe at PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying that people cannot be fooled by setting up a hospital.

Addressing a huge gathering of supporters at Bagh-e-Jinnah on Saturday, Khan said that ordinary people can be fooled by some parties, not us.

“Who is financing such big gatherings? Where are you getting money from?” “I don’t want to talk about the past… I want to focus on the future.”

He warned that the current political situation could make a Tahrir Square. The former president said that those who supported referendums later tendered apologies. “Supporting a dictator was a political sin,” he said.

“Our government had served the masses,” he said. He said that jawans were embracing martyrdom along the line of control (LoC).

The former president said that PPP, if came into power, would provide free tube wells to farmers and purchase phutti and cotton.

He also criticized Amir Dogar, who quit the PPP and won the elections in Multan with PTI’s support. “We know what prompted you to change the party,” he said
