Another contempt of court application has been filed against disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday.
The petition filed at the LHC states Nawaz Sharif, in his Aiwan-e-Iqbal address, criticized the ruling of Supreme Court of Pakistan that it gave in Panama Papers case.
Petition filed by a citizen, Mehmood Akhtar, said the deposed premier held Panama ruling as contrary to justice and raised 12 questions to the verdict.
Akhtar pleaded with the court to initiate contempt proceedings against Nawaz Sharif as his statement stands as snub to the court’s ruling.
