The Young Doctors Association’s strike continues unabated here to the immense discomfort and chagrin of the patients due to closure of Outpatient departments at the government hospitals.
The worst sufferers of the strike staged by the Young Doctors to press for their demands are the patients and their attendant hailing from far flung areas flocking to government hospitals for treatment. There are no doctors to attend to patients pouring into government hospitals.
The Association has vowed to continue its strike till the acceptance of its demands.
