    State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sheir Ali on Saturdays accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of exerting pressure on state intuitions.

    Talking to media at Faisalabad Electric Supply Company office, the minister criticized the joint investigation team (JIT) currently seized with investigation into Prime Minister’s family alleged offshore holdings, saying that the task of JIT is to gather evidence and not telling Tariq Shafi that he could be send behind the bar for 18 years.

    Regarding PTI chief’s fresh call for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign, Ali said that Imran wish would never actualize.

    He added that Imran Khan was held accountable thrice, alleging him of misappropriating Zakat money.

    The minister said that Imran Khan knew it very well that he could not become Prime Minister through legal and transparent manner therefore he was gathering corrupt lot around himself.

    He added that Nawaz Sharif’s family was being held accountable for the last 40 years. “Now there is a need a JIT should be constituted against Imra Khan,” he urged.

    He termed PTI Chief Imran Khan and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari as the two side of same coin.

    Abid Sheir Ali said that Imran Khan would never stage sit-in against Zardari’s corruption. He added that now it was the turn of each and every corrupt to face accountability.

    He also came down hard on PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan, saying that Aizaz was among those ‘blamed for Benazir murder’.
