Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday thrashed his political opponents through heated statements and said those who are pointing fingers towards Punjab should first clean the garbage of Karachi.

The CM gave these remarks in reply to Asif Ali Zardari’s statement in which the former president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) claimed to conquer Punjab in upcoming elections.

Shehbaz Sharif taunted Asif Ali Zardari by mentioning the trash that has piled up in areas of Karachi like Defence and Clifton, and suggested him to bring reforms in his own city before claiming to change Punjab.

Furthermore, Punjab CM offered his services to conduct cleanliness operation in the capital of Sindh.

Shehbaz Sharif added that those who robbed Rs 50 billion from Bank of Punjab (BOP) and looted national treasure are now blaming others for corruption.

CM Shehbaz said the time has now come that we should stop playing blame games and take the country forward together by working on ground realities.

Future generations will not forgive us if we do not play a constructive role for this country, he added.
