  • Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad:19 suspects arrested from different cities of Punjab

    Law Enforcement Agencies conducted operations in different cities of Punjab on Sunday, apprehending 19 suspects, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said, as Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad continues across the country.

    According to the statement, joint search and intelligence based operations were conducted by Punjab Rangers, police and intelligence agencies in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Attock, Sialkot, Lahore, Kasur.

    Weapons, ammunition, Laptops, currency, sectarian hate material and foreign passports were also recovered.

    Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was launched on February 22, after series back-to-back terrorist attacks in the country, in which more than 100 people lost their lives.

    The operation includes a broad-spectrum security, counter-terrorism operations in Punjab, and continuation of ongoing operations across the country.

    According to the Director-General of the ISPR wing of the Pakistan Army, the operation aims include the elimination of the residual and latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made so far and ensuring the security of Pakistan’s borders.
