The Punjab government has approved a grant amounting to Rs 25 million for bringing improvement in water supply of Cantt areas of Rawalpindi.
State of the art machinery will be purchased out of this grant to ensure smooth supply of water to the citizens in cantonment areas.
Member Board Arshad Mahmood said that Punjab chief minister was informed about the water problems in Rawalpindi Cantt areas.
Punjab government assured to address this problem at the earliest, therefore, it has approved grant of Rs 25 million to resolve the water problems in cantonment areas.
