At least six people were killed on Tuesday after a cylinder exploded inside a house in Bahawalnagar.
The explosion also caused several houses to collapse in the South Punjab city, leading to panicked scenes of people rushing out of their houses.
Rescue teams arrived on the spot and rushed the wounded people to the hospital and started firefighting. The blaze was brought under control after two hours.
The injured have been shifted to hospital. Of them, ten are said to be in critical condition.
