Rashly driven tractor-trolley rammed into a motorbike near Lahore’s Rohi Nullah, killing brother and sister on the spot.
Deceased were later identified as 22-year-old Adnan and 12-year-old Ayesha. Driver of the tractor-trolley immediately ran away from the scene whereas police shifted the dead bodies to morgue.
Police are searching for the suspect.
Deadly traffic accidents are common in Pakistan, partially due to drivers commonly disregarding safety standards and traffic laws.
According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data, average 15 people died every day in traffic accidents across the country in the last 10 years.
