Security forces on a tip-off of suspected RAW agent Illyas alias Pervez conducted a search operation in Wagah area and arrested four individuals.
According to details, Illyas used to share significant information across the border during duty hours. The information included movement of VIPs and exchange of sensitive installations.
On the other hand, police and intelligence agencies during raid in Chiniot market and various other places in Faisalabad arrested six suspects including three alleged terrorists. The suspects were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
Sources report that the three terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces in Waziristan however; they hid in Faisalabad later after operation was initiated in that area.
