    Several militants have been killed and many others injured in an airstrike carried out by security forces in Rajgal valley of Khyber Agency under operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

    According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces carried out targeted airstrikes in Sattar Kalay and Narai Nau areas of Rajgal valley in Khyber tribal region after receiving information regarding terrorists’ movement from Afghan province of Nangarhar into Rajgal valley.

    Several hideouts of the militants were also destroyed in the strike while some militants in an injured condition along with few survivors managed to flee back to Afghanistan, Army media-wing further stated.

    Separately, security forces claimed to thwart a major terror plot in Zhob in Balochistan by recovering a large cache of arms and ammunition including rocket propelled grenades (RPGs) and explosive material during a raid by the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan.

    Moreover, two suspected terrorists were killed during police search operation in Dera Ismail Khan.

    Moreover, in Lahore, nine suspected miscreants were taken into custody by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) during a combing operation in Model Town and Garden Town of the city.

    In another raid, CTD in Swat claimed to arrest key terrorist, identified as Mashal Khan. However, no further details could be ascertained relating the arrest.

    Furthermore, Rangers in Rawalpindi arrested nine suspects during a raid. No more details were ascertained relating the raid by the paramilitary force.
