Inspector General FC Major General Shaheen Mazhar on Wednesday visited Kurram Agency and met leaders and elders of religious communities.
Addressing a Jirgah of elders of religious communities, Gen Shaheen Mazhar said that security forces had broken the back of terrorists. He added that now the terrorists were resorting to cheap tactics of stoking sectarian strife in the area.
He pledged that the bloods of those killed in the terrorist attacks in Kurram would be avenged and those behind the coward attack would be taken to the task.
The IG FC said that terrorists had no religion. He announced Rs2 lakh for the heirs of Kurram attack victims.
It is to be mentioned here that yesterday terrorists had targeted a passenger van through remote control blats that killed 10 people and injured 14 others.
