    In a major achievement in ongoing anti-terror operation Raddul Fasaad, the security forces have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition including rockets, prepared IEDs, explosives, grenades, mortar bombs, different types of weapons and communication equipment from Kalaya area of Orakzai Agency and Parachinar area of Kurram Agency.

    According to ISPR, a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) center established in underground tunnels in Kalaya was destroyed during the operation.

    In a separate intelligence based operation in Parachinar, FC and intelligence Agencies recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition including rockets, IEDs, grenade, mines, mortar ammo, explosives, different types of weapons and communication equipment.

    Recovery of such huge cache is indicative of planning for major terrorist attack which has been averted, the ISPR reported.

    Earlier on Saturday, security forces foiled a major terrorist attack on minority Christians when they killed a militant and detained his associate in the eastern city of Lahore. Four soldiers were wounded during the overnight raid.
