    Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan will soon become a prosper country as a result of development projects being implemented by the government.

    Addressing a public meeting in Kohat on Friday, he said PML (N) Government is fulfilling the promises made with the people relating to development and prosperity of the country.

    He said the PML (N) Government will bring change in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) by implementing development projects in the province.

    The Prime Minister said that 3.9 billion rupees will be spent on the gas supply projects in Kohat.

    He said a highway will be constructed connecting Kohat, Jhand and Pindi Gheb.

    Development plans

    Vowing to bring change to the city and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Prime Minister announced construction of a new hospital in Kohat and a women’s campus in Kohat University. He added that the government is starting a rail car service from Rawalpindi to Kohat and will soon connect Kohat to the Motorway.

    Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who inaugurated gas supply projects for the union councils in Kohat on the occasion, said that the government is spending Rs. 3.9 billion on providing gas to the city. He also reiterated his promise to end loadshedding across the country by 2018.

    Elaborating on the gas projects, the Prime Minister said that the projects would supply gas to Khushal Garh, Chorlaki, Shahpur, Sherkot, Nusrat khel, Ali Zai and other districts in the city.

    'Change'

    Taking aim at PTI’s rhetoric for ‘change’ the Prime Minister remarked that had there been development in the KPK province, there wouldn’t be such a huge crowd at this rally.

    “We will bring change to this province. People know that no work has been done in KPK in the past three years,” the Prime Minister said, adding that PML-N would win the 2018 elections and would also be elected to govern KPK in 2018.

    About the security situation in the country, the Prime Minister said the government is doing its best to combat terrorism and improve the security countrywide.

    He also congratulated senator Abbas Khan Afridi on joining PML-N.
