    Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district in occupied Kashmir, today.

    The troops killed the youth during a military operation in Machil area of the district. The operation continued till reports last came in.

    Complete shutdown continued for the second consecutive day, today, in Beerwah and its adjoining areas in Badgam district against the killing of a youth, Tanveer Ahmed Wani, by Indian Army. The puppet authorities continued to suspend mobile internet services on the third day in various parts of the district.

    The All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmed Shah who is under continued house arrest in Srinagar talked to the family members of martyred Tanveer Ahmed Wani over phone and expressed solidarity with them. He said that India was hell bent upon suppressing the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through military might but was destined to fail in its designs. Hurriyat leaders including Jahangir Ghani Butt strongly condemning the killing of the youth termed it as the worst example of Indian state terrorism.

    Senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safi, addressing a gathering and Dukhtaran-e-Millat General Secretary Nahida Nasreen, in a statement in Srinagar said that the thrashing of Kashmiri policemen by Indian Army personnel in Gund area of Ganderbal showed that even Kashmiri policemen were not safe from the brutalities of Indian forces. They said that the incident illustrated the grave situation the people of territory were facing.

    The residents of Nidura Nilow village of Kulgam district told mediamen that Indian troops and police personnel vandalized their houses during a cordon and search operation last night. Hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, visited Brenti Dialgam area of Islamabad district and expressed sympathy with the family of one Bashir Ahmed whose house was destroyed by Indian troops during a military operation recently.

    The illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, was taken to a hospital and was later shifted back to central jail in Srinagar despite his ailing health.

    The personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force thrashed their company commander at Wanpoh in Qazigund area of Islamabad district following the death of their ailing colleague who was denied permission by the officer to shift him to a hospital.
