    Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Monday said that the writ of the state has largely been restored and that we are progressing towards enduring peace and stability.

    He expressed this while talking to troops deployed along Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency.

    According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief spent a day with troops as he was also briefed about operational preparedness and improved border security measures at the occasion.

    General Bajwa applauded the exceptionally high morale of troops and their undaunted determination to eliminate terrorism.

    COAS let it be known at the occasion that our nation supports us owing to our innumerable sacrifices that we have made for defence and security of our motherland.

    The army chief also appreciated effective border security arrangements that have enhanced control on cross border terrorist movement.
