District Skardu and Ghanchay’s ground connection has been disconnected due to heavy snowfall in Gilgit Baltistan.
More than 24 tourists have been stranded in Naran and Kaghan due to blockage of routes. The Lowari Tunnel in Chitral and Zhob National Highway in Quetta is still blocked. At least two children were killed, while a woman injured due to roof of a house collapsed in Khyber Agency. The rain and snowfall at mountains have paralized the life in Upper areas of the country.
There is snow everywhere in Abbottabad, Gilgit, Baltistan, Skardu, Ghanchay, Chitral, Noshki and Chaman. Ghanchay has been disconnected from other districts of the province due to snowfall.
The Zhob National Highway is closed for several hours due to heavy snowfall, due to which the transport is not allowed on those roads. The citizens are limited to their houses and tourists are stranded in different areas.
