    The Supreme Court of Pakistan announced its verdict in Hajj corruption case and ordered action against FIA officials and politicians involved in the embezzlement.

    The apex court directed Hajj organizers to refund Hajis Rs.5000 each.The SC ordered authorities to take action against officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), politicians and bureaucrats who created hurdles in the investigation and are involved in Hajj embezzlement.
    Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who was leading a three-member bench, read out today’s court decision which was reserved earlier on Nov 20.
