Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s security guard told Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chairman Farooq Sattar to make way for the premier at which the latter felt offended.

The incident occurred in the National Assembly (NA) where lawmakers had gathered to vote regarding amended election bill 2017. Farooq Sattar responded saying the security officials should evacuate common people and not parliamentarians.

Security official reiterated his demand and told Sattar that it is a matter of great concern for their job. Sattar was compelled by these words and he finally made way for the premier.

After moving away from the pathway, Sattar gave a pat on the shoulder of guard saying, “You’re job will not be affected. He is a Prime Minister, not a king.”
