Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Syed Ali Raza Abidi, on Monday, announced resignation from the lower house “due to political and personal reasons”.
Abidi took to Twitter on Monday and shared his resignation letter, which he has submitted to Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq. He has won elections from a constituency, NA-254, in Karachi

Responding to a tweet, Abidi said that there are many reasons; one of them was elector alliance with Pak Sarzmeen Party (PSP), due to which he has taken the decision.

In another tweet, the minister confirmed that he had got appointment from the speaker for Nov 15 where he would verify the resignation to accept it.
Got appointment from Speaker sb to take the paper in person at 4:00pm on 15th IA. As per procedure he will need to verify and ask a few questions to finalise and accept it.

The moves comes days after MQM-P announced an alliance with PSP which sow differences within the party.
