While pointing out security challenges in Pakistan, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday has said that the safe havens of terrorists in Afghanistan are creating troubles in our country.

Khawaja Asif, while talking to media ahead of fourth round of ongoing Pak-US dialogue in Islamabad, clarified that there is no organized network of militants in Pakistan, therefore, we should not be blamed for the issues in the neighbouring country. He said that Pakistan’s sacrifices for the war against terror cannot be neglected.

He also expressed concerns over the extended involvement of India in Afghanistan, adding that India is not a supporter of peace in the region.

The minister further urged to take steps for the better relations between Pakistan and America.

Meanwhile, US ambassador to Pakistan David Hale, on his turn, revealed that the purpose of America’s new policy is to pressurize Taliban for negotiation.
