    Pakistan Foreign Office on Wednesday summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner to record protest over Indian army’s unprovoked firing across Line of Control (LoC) in Lipa Sector that killed two women on Tuesday.

    Sources have revealed that the Foreign Office handed over a protest letter to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner and condemned India’s act of targeting the civilians. India has also been reminded about the 2003 ceasefire agreement.

    It is worth mentioning here that the Indian army used artillery, heavy mortars and automatic guns during shelling in villages Qaisar Kot and Nokot in Lipa sector yesterday.

    Two women identified as Maryam and Sumaira Younus were martyred while Muhammad Shakeel, Muhammad Anwar Beg, Munir Ahmad, Zeeshan, Rafiq Ahmad and Nasreen were wounded.
