    Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated the services of doctors and paramedic staff for providing quality healthcare to Pakistan Army and common citizens.

    COAS was interacting with the Commanding Officers and soldiers of Army Medical Corps during his visit to Army Medical Center, Abbottabad on Thursday.

    General Bajwa particularly lauded the role of Army Medical Corps in saving valuable lives in the war against terrorism.

    The army chief also laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.

    Later on, a ceremony was held in to Army Medical Center to pin Colonel Commandant badge on General Zahid Hameed. Colonel Commandant Lieutenant General Mumtaz Sukhera was also present at the ceremony.
