US Senator Elizabeth Warren has on Thursday called on Pakistan’s Ambassador to US Aizaz Chaudhry.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to regional situation came under discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, Aizaz Chaudhry informed the US Senator about the achievements of Pakistan in its fight against the terrorism.
He told Elizabeth Warren that peace in Afghanistan is not only important for Pakistan but for the progress of the US and entire region.
The ambassador went on to say that Pakistan will continue to play key role to restore peace in Afghanistan.
