No comparison in Imran, Nawaz's cases: PTI leader No comparison in Imran, Nawaz's cases: PTI leader

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry said on Monday that the cases against the PTI chairman are nearing their end.

Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Chaudhry said PTI Chairman Imran Khan brought money earned from the sale of his London apartment back to Pakistan.

"There is no comparison in the cases against Imran and Nawaz Sharif," he claimed, explaining that Imran is accused of embezzlement of thousands of pounds whereas Nawaz's misappropriations exceed billions of rupees.

He further said that Imran never held any public office in his life, compared to Nawaz who has been a part of the government since the 1970s and 1980s.

Chaudhry also told the media that Imran has submitted his decades-old money trail to the Supreme Court in the disqualification case against him.

The PTI leader also criticised the lodging of cases against his party chief, saying they are a mere revenge plot after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as prime minister in the Panama Papers case.

"Imran doesn’t have a single share in Niazi Services Limited," he claimed further.

PTI Karachi leader Ali Zaidi also spoke to the media after Chaudhry.
