  • Pakistan will Respond Befittingly of Indian Aggression: Khawaja Asif

    Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif warned on Thursday that Pakistan will respond aggressively if India makes the surgical strikes mistake.

    “India threatening surgical strikes against Pakistan, however Pakistan will reply its aggression with full force and will leave the tolerance policy behind,” he said.

    Addressing at the US Institute of Peace in Washington he said that Pakistan and United States need to actively work to achieve common objective of durable peace in the region.

    “The menace of global terrorism has claimed hundreds of thousands of human lives. Pakistan wishes to build partnership for a secure and prosperous future and to defeat the forces of disarray,” he pledged.

    He went on saying that Pakistan considers itself as the long standing friend of the United States and friends need to revitalize and refresh their friendship from time to time. Our relationships are underpinned by certain shared values.

    The foreign minister said achieving peace and security in Afghanistan is critical for lasting peace in the region.

    He warned US that military solution in Afghanistan will backfire and only way forward was to dialogue and reconciliation.

    He demanded US and world should play role to stop Indian cruelty in Kashmir.
