Political secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan , Aun Chaudhry has complained of a dacoity in the wee hours of Saturday that devoid him of two mobile phones and Rs 60,000.
He asserted that a burglar stole Rs 60,000 in cash and two of his mobile phones at around 03:30am on Saturday morning.
Reportedly, Naeemul Haq, spokesperson for PTI chief was asleep in the immediate next room whose attention call made the burglar to run.
Awn Chaudry, a close aide of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, said the incident "appears to be an ordinary case of theft".
He said that Haque was sleeping in the room next to his when the robbers came.
Police confirmed that Naeemul Haque tried to chase thieves.
The local police officials said that important details of PTI are stored in the stolen phones, adding that the theft happened within Bani Gala police remits.
