  • Prime Minister Directs All Out Efforts to Overcome Karachi Situation

    Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has taken the notice of the situation appeared after the rain in Karachi and ordered to clean up all main roads and thoroughfares to ease the traffic flow.

    PM Abbasi ordered all the civic departments of provincial and federal governments to coordinate efforts to drainage the rainwater accumulated on important roads and rescue activities.

    The Prime Minister directed NHA, KPT, Ports and Shipping, Rangers, Pakistan Army and other concerned authorities to mobilize all the resources to clear the roads and ensure uninterrupted communication and connectivity within the city as well as with other parts of the county.

    He ensured, “Federal government ready to provide any kind of assistance to provincial government.”

    He also directed Rangers and army to coordinate with the provincial and local government in rescue activities so that people could get rid of the worsen situation.
