US Foreign Secretary Rex Tillerson telephoned Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif and extended congratulation to him on Pakistan’s 70 birthday.
Both the leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional security situation. On Khawaja Asif invitation Rex Tillerson assured that he would visit Pakistan soon.
Talking to US Foreign secretary, Khuwaja Asif said that US played vital role to strengthen Pakistan’s economy and social development.
Commenting over Afghanistan situation, he said that peace and development in Pakistan depends on peace in Afghanistan.
