  • Petition Seeking Gulalai’s Disqualification Filed at SC

    A petition seeking disqualification of dissident member of PTI party Ayesha Gulalai who leveled serious against the person of party chairman Imran Khan is being filed at Supreme Court Registry here.

    Petitioner private citizen Mahmood Akhtar argues that Gulalai used improper language against Imran and uttered statements based on lies.

    The petitioner further argues that Gulalai has not been able to provide proofs about the statements given by her to media and she no more remains Honest and Truthful under Articles 62 and 63 of the constitution and thus she should be declared disqualified for National Assembly seat for life.

    It may be mentioned here that two days ago Gulalai had leveled serious allegations against chairman PTI Imran khan thereby fueling a new controversy in politics of the country.
