Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked the Supreme Court on Friday to make Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resign till the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) completes probe into Panama case.

He declared PM an obstacle in the investigation of his family’s money trail and offshore accounts, adding that PML-N lawmaker Nehal Hashmi had already attacked the JIT with his furious speech. He asked the PTI workers to prepare themselves in case PML-N attempts anything violent.

PTI Chief was addressing to media at Bani Gala where he criticised the ruling party of PML-N for interfering in the interrogation conducted by JIT. He maintained that PM Nawaz would never resign on their demand so the apex court should issue such orders.

He warned his party workers that the PML-N could back another ‘attack’ on the Supreme Court, telling them to protect the highest court. “We are waiting for the final verdict of JIT,” he said while expressing hope that the decision will be in their favour. He stated Nawaz Sharif and PML-N are dangerous entities.

Imran Khan also made a comment on the leaked photo of premier’s son Hussain Nawaz sitting under JIT interrogation. He differed to the claims of rival party leaders that Hussain Nawaz was a ‘child’ sitting in fear. He wronged the impression and said a 45-year-old man is not a child.
