Hussain Nawaz has Wednesday filed a petition in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan to investigate how his picture, while answering the questions of Joint Investigation Team (JIT), was leaked on social media.
The Prime Minister’s son requested the apex court to form a commission under a retired judge to probe into the matter.
The petition stated that it should be found out how this picture was leaked and got viral on social media, and also accused JIT members of wrong use of power.
Hussain Nawaz said JIT chief and its members are responsible for the photo leak, which is violation of his basic rights and its purpose is only to humiliate him.
The petition is filed through Advocate Khawaja Haris, and the petitioner has took the stance that a message has been given to all those who will appear before the investigation team in the future that they would be at the mercy of JIT.
