    Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed confidence that "Arab-Islamic-American" summit will go a long way in eradicating terrorism from the globe.

    Talking to newsmen in Madina Munawwara on Monday, he said Riyadh Summit's resolve to jointly combat terrorism is a good step. He said Muslim world should also join hands to eliminate militancy from their respective territories.

    The Prime Minister urged Afghanistan to take effective steps to counter terrorism.

    He said his interaction with US President Donald Trump remained positive.

    He said Pakistan has rendered great sacrifices in the war against terrorism and it has suffered a loss of over one hundred and twenty billion dollars, besides losing twenty-four thousand lives in this fight.

    Prime Minister offered Asr prayer at Masjid-i-Nabwi today.

    He prayed for development, prosperity and solidarity of the country.

    On this occasion, people present in the Masjid also expressed good wishes to the Prime Minister.
